Areas We Serve in Birmingham and Nearby

Takereviews Remodeling connects homeowners in Birmingham, Alabama, and across the Birmingham area with independent local providers. Think of it like a community bulletin board. You read what is posted, then pick who to talk to.

The region has its own building challenges. Summers are hot and humid. Heavy downpours and tropical storm season test every roof, window, and bathroom fan. Winters are mild, with only rare hard freezes. Many homes here are slab-on-grade ranches with brick or vinyl siding, and attics can get very hot. Some older homes sit on pier-and-beam foundations. A good provider knows how moisture, heat, and these house types shape a remodel.

That local knowledge matters most for bathing-area projects. Tub-to-shower conversions, walk-in showers, and walk-in tubs all depend on waterproofing, ventilation, and the floor underneath. Ask every provider how they handle each one.

Providers in our network work in many towns around Birmingham. Browse the list of locations on this site to find the town closest to you. If your town is not listed, ask when you call, because coverage can vary by provider.
